University Of Ibadan (U.I) Closes down

University of Ibadan has closed down for a period of two weeks to address the issue of power problems facing the institution, as well as putting a stop to the student s unrest which has halted the academic progression of the institution in the last three days.
Mr Olatunji Oladejo the Director of Public Communications of the Institution made the press statement available.

The Senate, at its special meeting on Tuesday resolved that all students should proceed on a two-week break with immediate effect while they surf for means to resolve the power problem, with the view to providing a codusive environment for learning......
