It looks like Lil Wayne is dropping a new album soon for free. Tunechi hopped on Twitter today to share that he will be dropping a new LP, stating that The Free Weezy Album is coming soon. Are we in “Free Weezy Season” right now? Last month he dropped Sorry 4 The Wait 2, airing out Cash Money’s dirty laundry and sending shots at Birdman, which the CEO of the NOLA label didn’t take so well.

Fans will have to wait for Tha Carter V just a little bit longer. But at least we know some new music is on the way. There haven’t been any new updates regarding Weezy’s current lawsuit against Cash Money Records. He’s currently seeking $51 million for the delay of Tha Carter V and wants freedom from his contract. Last we heard, Wayne said he was willing to stay with Birdman’s label if they paid him the $10 million that he is owed for completing Tha Carter V.
